FARM + GARDEN
Planting roots in the soil and in the community.
I’m a flower farmer, gardener, amateur landscaper, and farm worker, building sustainable outdoor spaces where collaborators and clients become part of the ecosystem.
I honor native plants, pollinators, and wildlife and practice low-waste gardening.
My work includes private garden design, community garden support, plant care, and for-sale flowers and nursery plants. I am the flower manager for Walnut Hill Farm, growing two acres for drying and sale at NYC farmer’s markets.

I’ve been a hobby gardener for 10 years, but my plant journey started somewhere unexpected.
After graduating college with a degree in media & communications, I moved to Brooklyn with my sights set on professional work in the music industry. After a couple years of odd jobs and launching my blog, Broadist, I began my career as a radio promoter and project manager, bringing international artists to stations across the U.S. and Canada. I took a weekend job at the farmer’s market to decompress from the fast-paced media environment I’d grown weary of.
Nearly a decade later, I was drawn to more localized, community-focused work. So I made the transition from large-scale promotion campaigns to hosting radio shows at Bronx NPR affiliate WFUV, while increasing shifts at GrowNYC farmer’s markets. It felt fitting — and fulfilling — to amplify local music in tandem with local agriculture.
Then the pandemic hit, and the live music scene shut down, closing the proverbial door on music and opening the window into full-time farm and garden work.
I reached out to my employers at Walnut Hill, signed on as a seasonal flower manager, and moved four hours north.
There, growing organic flowers and grain on a pretty hill in southern Vermont, I found a deeper connection to the land and my agricultural community.
Now I continue seasonal farm work for Walnut Hill, while running my own gardening business and growing Soursop Flower Farm. I also sell flower bouquets and nursery plants to NYC locals, and wholesale to florists.
